In our last post, we took a trip down memory lane, and had a look at the past year’s favourite 4x4s. Now it’s time to look forward to the coming year, and the 4x4s that we’re most looking forward to seeing. Of course, this is not a definitive list, but these are just a few of the most anticipated 2015 arrivals:
Mazda CX-3
This new SUV crossover boasts SKYACTIV technology and KODO design, combining to create a stylish, comfortable and practical car. Mazda claim that the car benefits from excellent fuel efficiency and low emissions, without compromising on outstanding performance.
Expected price: £12,000 (est)
Volvo XC90
Designed in Sweden, this muscular looking car features IntelliSafe technology that alerts the driver to possible obstacles. The interior is flexible and spacious, as there are 7 foldable seats that are easy to use. There is also a tablet-like touchscreen driver display, giving the car a sleek and modern feel.
Expected price: £45,875
Mercedes GLE Coupe
Designed as a competitor to the BMW X6, this Merc is the first of the GLE series which shall replace the ML-class 4×4. The car has a range of great features, including a high-end stereo system, a touchpad controller, a reversing camera and an automatic emergency braking system.
Expected price: £50,000 (est)
Maserati Levante
This will be the first Maserati SUV, so is eagerly anticipated by petrolheads. The Levante will offer standard all-wheel drive and two V6 engines – one with 350 horsepower, and the other with 425 hp. The new model is expected to compete with other luxury SUVs, such as the Porsche Cayenne, BMW X6 and Range Rover Sport.
So there you have it; just a few of our favourite new models to be looking out for in 2015. It would seem that whatever your 4×4 needs are, there will be a car to suit you!
